reunited & 2 years

Last night was the big game.

The game between the town rivals, CRHS and TFHS. 

Every year, the town puts together this thing called the Service Bowl where both schools duke it out in spirit. 

There are activities like a cow pie drop, dance off, cheer off, A SPIRIT BELL, and of course the football game.

Last year, when I was Student Body VP, I worked my tail off so that we could win the Spirit Bell.

(which as you might have guessed, goes to the school who shows the most spirit)

I forced spirit on the school and practically begged everyone to work so hard that they skipped sleeping.

It was the most important thing for me.

More important than winning the game. . .

AND WE WON IT! 

Long story short, I cried and screamed and hugged everyone. 

I can't even explain the amount of joy I felt. Hard work pays off! 

Last year, with OUR SPIRIT BELL!

So, we graduated and all. Yeah.

But Sydney and I both wanted to go to the game this year too!

I had heard that the new CRHS Student Council had been doing a good job, so I was stoked!

But we didn't really know what was in store for us.

We ended up going down on the football players benches during halftime. . . even though nobody else was down there, except a past and present StuCo member and the advisor.

They announced a bunch of other prizes and the whole time we were freaking out.

I thought I was going to puke.

We were all holding hands and our hearts were beating out of our chests.

Then they announced that, for the second year in a row, CANYON RIDGE HAD WON THE SPIRIT BELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was like the past year all over again! 

I was so proud of the school! 

And we felt kinda dumb for being returning college students and being that excited!

Reunited! I missed her!
P.S. I got extensions yesterday!
