Concert lovin'

When you live in Idaho, it's really hard to find concerts in which you actually wish to attend. But every once in a (very little) while, we get the chance to travel a short distance and enjoy some fantasticly amazing music. Monday night my favorite band Imagine Dragons had a show in Boise! And I went! It was my first ever real concert, and it was seriously the best!

There was actually 3 other bands that night: B.B. Gun, Zeale, and AWOLNATION. Although AWOL was the "most popular" band to play that night, they weren't for me. 

I was seriously like four people away from the stage. . . which was a big deal. The first band, B.B. Gun came on stage and I was indifferent. They were good, but not great. However, the band members were H-O-T.

After them, Zeale started setting up. And let me tell you, I was scared! They were wearing masks, and setting up techy stuff (not really my type of music). But when the music started, I LOVED IT! The front man was a rapper. A REALLY good rapper! I loved every one of their songs, and wanted to hear much more.

THEN IT WAS TIME FOR IMAGINE DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, they were fantastic. 

Every single song.

I sang along so loud and so terrible (sorry innocent concert watchers)

The front man was just banging on some awesome drums (bass & snare) as he was singing, throwing so much passion into every beat. It was magic. I can't even tell you how amazing they were.

When they performed Radioactive, I just wanted to cry. It was amazing. But then after the song was over, Dan Reynolds (lead singer) just started crying and hugging his band mates. It was so emotional and amazing. Every single one of the songs they played was just amazing!!!! 

Here is the best part!!! My friend Todd, whom I took with me to the concert, CAUGHT THE DRUMMER'S DRUM STICK!!!!! WHAT!!!! Yes, real life right there. And he is going to saw it in half so I can have it too! AHHH!

After they were done, my friends and I went to the back of the concert house and met them. . . which is where all of these pictures came from! 

Finally AWOLNATION came on! And they were really good! I didn't know like ANY of their songs, but it was really fun to watch them do what they love, and watch the crowd go crazy. There was a ton of crowd surfing and head banging. Nothing wrong with that:)

Easily one of the best nights of my life.
